Community Organizer – America’s Favorite Park Campaign (Pratt Park, Prattville, AL)
In 2012, I played an active role in organizing community efforts that led to Pratt Park being named America’s Favorite Park in a nationwide contest sponsored by Coca-Cola. Over a six-week period, residents and supporters came together to cast over 28 million votes, securing first place and a $100,000 grant for park improvements. My contributions included coordinating volunteer efforts, promoting daily voting across social media, engaging with local media outlets, and working alongside city officials to mobilize the community. This grassroots campaign became a powerful example of what civic engagement can achieve, and it remains one of my proudest collaborative efforts.
