As a board member of the Historic Prattville Redevelopment Authority (June 2008 – November 2012), I was proud to support the revitalization efforts of the Daniel Pratt Historic District—an area rich in cultural and architectural significance. The Authority, established by the Alabama State Legislature, serves as a municipal body focused on breathing new life into the historic heart of Prattville. During my tenure, I contributed to strategic planning, provided guidance on redevelopment projects, and collaborated with fellow board members to help shape policies that balanced preservation with progress. It was a rewarding opportunity to help foster economic growth and community pride while honoring the city's heritage.
